Warwick Physio & Rehab is based in Kenilworth and was founded in 2006. We had a vision to create a therapy centre where we could provide high quality physiotherapy and complementary therapies, in an environment that had less of a clinical and more of a warm, friendly feel.
Our expert team comprises clinical specialists and academics. Our focus is to assess a patients’ problems and offer the best possible way to manage and alleviate the problem. We work closely with senior surgical and medical consultants, following their treatment protocols and providing post-operative rehab when requested.
As well as musculoskeletal (including giving advice on the management of ongoing conditions such arthritis and osteoporosis), sports injury, respiratory, neurological and vestibular physiotherapy, we offer acupuncture and Pilates. We can help with foot conditions – looking at biomechanics and referring patients for orthotics where required and pregnancy related conditions during the early stages and post-partem.
Our physiotherapists are all senior and are registered with the main professional bodies, the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health Professions Council (HCPC). We are passionate about what we do and are committed to keeping abreast of research and new developments in physiotherapy and regularly organise and attend refresher and post graduate courses.
Warwick Physio & Rehab is situated in the High Street in the old, historic part of Kenilworth, which is a short walk from Abbey Fields and St Nicholas Church. There is ample 2-hour free parking on the High Street (No ticket required). Further free parking is available in Abbey Fields car park at the rear of the building, which also has disabled access. Although parking is free for a couple of hours in the Abbey Fields car park, please be advised that you will need to obtain and display a valid ticket.
Our physiotherapists are all DBS registered and are authorised to work with children and young adults.
Where exercise is advised we provide tailor-made exercise programmes suited to the individual patient. These will usually be accompanied by helpful pictures and wherever possible videos to ensure the exercises are repeated correctly. Examples of such can be viewed in the resource section.
We are open for Physiotherapy treatments Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 6.30 pm and Saturday between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm. We aim to be flexible to suit your needs. The duration of your initial appointment could vary from 45 to 60 minutes depending on the nature and complexity of your condition to allow for a full assessment and treatment to be carried out. Follow up sessions are usually 30 minutes long but you and your physiotherapist may decide to extend the session to 45 or 60 minutes as required. When attending sessions, it is advisable to bring along appropriate loose-fitting clothing for easy access to area(s) to be treated. As well as seeing patients in clinic we are happy to see patients at home or in a gym/ sporting environment as required. Physiotherapy home visits can be arranged to suit your personal schedule.
We are recognised by all the larger medical insurance companies and are happy to invoice them directly. For self-funding patients we accept all major credit cards, cheques and cash.
